The Auckland Sky Tower at night is often seen lit up in different colours. Sometimes to celebrate a specific holiday, other times as a memorial. Once it even looked like an alien ship. Today it was red. I don’t know why.
The Sky Tower is the tallest free standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as being the tallest man-made structure in New Zealand.
While it’s not as clear as it would have been had I used a tripod, I am really pleased with this handheld photo. Shot with my new Olympus OMD-Em5 at f4 with a shutter speed of .8s.
