My White House Souvenir – Fun Photo From Washington D.C.

Do you buy those little replica souvenirs?  A Statue of Liberty, an Eiffel Tower, they seem to have everything but a replica White House souvenir, so I took my own:

I generally steer away from these silly tourist type photos, but sometimes I just can’t resist. So cliche I know, but I we have held up the Leaning Tower in Italy, flown broomsticks at Alnwick Castle in England, copped a feel in  Spain, shrunk like leprechauns in Ireland and picked Shrek’s nose in Los Angeles. Why do we do this?  If you met my silly extended family it would make more sense.

Have you been to the White House?  Which White House souvenir did you get? Do you take goofy photos like this when you travel?

I don’t buy any of those kinds of things. I’ve not been to the White House nor will I ever go. There are many places in the U.S. I would love to visit, but Washington D. C. isn’t on that list.

    Have a terrific day. :)

Wow… Wonder why they aren’t cashing in on the miniature White House collecting market?

I think the Kids in the Hall did a routine where they would squish someones head like this! They would yell, “I am squishing your head!” lol Glad you got your souvenir!

We do take silly pictures, and I didn’t see any White House souvenirs when we were there either. We did get a really cool Supreme Court Building (Christmas) ornament up the road a bit, years ago. :)

Now I’m headed over to take a look at the ‘missing face on the cake’ post. :)

How fun! The only time I’ve gone to DC was the year after 9/11, so we weren’t allowed to take a tour or anything; we were never that close to the White House.

Hahah! I love your souvenir! I haven’t been, but my husband went with my daughter in April for her 8th grade field trip. It was right after they closed down the tours, so they didn’t get to go in. They were pretty bummed!
